Chuando Tan, a photographer from Singapore who became internet celebrity overnight after he posted his own photos on social media platform. Chuando was born in 1967, he is 54 years old this year but he looks more like in his 30s!

Chuando Tan used to work as a model in the 1980s and even attempted to be a pop singer in the ’90s. Unfortunately his career in singing wasn’t successful. Tan then decided to switch his career to photography.

Chuando Tan started an Instagram account and posted several photos of himself sharing his thoughts in captions. It soon proved to be working and his presence online gaining traction. Unsurprisingly, most of his followers are shocked to see how young he looks at his age and wanted to know his secrets.

Tan believes strongly that we are what we eat and believes that our health and appearance depend on 70% diet and 30% on exercise. He eats 6 hard boiled eggs for breakfast with only 2 yolks (due to cholesterol). He drinks a glass of milk and sometimes adds avocado with berries to his breakfast. This is a good amount of protein to start the day.

Apart from eggs, he eats chicken with rice, grilled vegetables, and fish soup during the day. The photographer also avoids coffee and tea but drinks a lot of water. He doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink alcohol, and usually eats salad for dinner.

On physical exercise, Chuando Tan does strength training 4 times a week, spending no more than 30 minutes on this activity. He will then follow through with cardio training. He also tries to swim every day for about an hour.

Tan says, “I have tried many different jobs and stopped at what I really like. I love people, love communication, love to set up a photo shoot, and love to take photos. If you do what you don’t like, then you’ll be feeling bad and, of course, it won’t strengthen your health.”

Another secret he shared was his sleeping schedule. Chuando Tan goes to bed every night before 11 PM and wakes up early in the morning. In order to get good sleep, he stops eating 5-6 hours before going to bed.
