Descendants Of The Sun star Song Joong Ki wowed fans with his proficient Chinese at his fan meeting in China recently.
On May 13, various Chinese media outlets reported on Song Joong Ki's impressive Chinese proficiency.
Reportedly, Song Joong Ki introduced himself with the words, "Hello,
everyone. I am Song Joong Ki. I am happy to be here with you guys
today", all in Chinese.
Media outlets also reported that he carried out the event without much language difficulty.
The secret behind his proficient Chinese turned out to be his brother, reports allkpop.
Song Joong Ki explained, "My brother studied abroad in Beijing for 8 years. He influenced me to study Chinese."
